Rain

Poetry

Untouched by your magical powers
Not a blade of grass can remain;
I merge with all of creation
One with all in the Rain.

One with the soil, the streams, the river
One with the seas as into her you drain;
One with the oceans that fill the planet
One with all in the Rain.

One with sunlight and the air
as silently you rise once again;
One with the skies and the clouds
One with all in the Rain.

One with flowers, the bees and the birds
With all life on earth that you sustain
I merge with all of creation
One with all in the Rain.

So step out and soak in her goodness
For not science nor art can explain;
this all encompassing headiness of being
One with all in the Rain.
